Dear Booster Club Member:
Thank you for your support of the Student/Athletes of Green. Your membership in the Green All Sports Booster Club helps enable us to provide our athletes with the resources necessary to develop and maintain outstanding athletic teams in every sport; and to support the development of our young citizens in the classroom, at home, on the field, on the mat, in the lanes, on the court, and out in the real world after graduation.
As you all are aware, budget cuts are affecting all areas of our lives. These cuts have drastically reduced funding to our Athletic Department which trickles down to each and every sport. The only way to keep up is for our Booster Club to take on more and more responsibility. Please consider becoming an active volunteer in fundraising events such as: Concessions, 50/50 Raffle at sporting events, Pancake Day, BullDog Bash, Golf Outing, Stadium Banners, Discount Card, Mulch Mania, Market Day, Fall and Winter Programs, and many more activities.
Over the past five years, the Green All Sports Booster Club has raised more than $1 Million in support. We hope to completely pay off our remaining balance on the “Got Turf” Project by the end of the year; and look to your help in determining our next Big Project. Please join us at our Monthly Meeting (first Monday of every month at 7pm, room 128 at the High School – meetings will be the 2nd Monday of the month when a Holiday falls on the 1st Monday).
Our goal is to broaden participation in the Booster Club to include the family of every student/athlete, as well as all other supporters of Green athletics. By encouraging broad participation, we will be able to develop greater resources to assist all teams in achieving their goals.
